Aesthetic Green Power and Sustainable Building Products are sister organizations. We are delighted to announce that we have been given Trade Marks for Active Building Products (ABUP) and Active Building Materials (ABUM). So, what is the big deal? Well here it is. We are the pioneer manufacture of real building materials that are designed to serve both as the building weathering skin and to generate solar electric and thermal to aid in building sustainability.  Products that we have designed, and manufacture include our Sunstates, TallSlates and TallSlates Grandee. Also included is our BITERS, Building Integrated Thermal Energy Roofing System. These all are Active building products and building materials. 

Among our credits is the first federal courthouse, Denver, Colorado, The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Center Jones Beach New York, The Met Life Stadium, Rutherford, New Jersey, The 2005 Pritzker Architecture award for Caltrans District 7 Headquarters Building, Los Angeles, CA. The Future House Competition project in Beijing China. We were awarded the prestigious Frost and Sullivan World Building Integrated PV Niche Player of the Year. 

These are just a few of hundreds of housing and commercial projects that have employed our approach to sustainability. So yes, active building materials is our business and the US Patent and Trademark Office recognition is a big deal.
